Manual cutting This operation mode is meant for the manual operation of the machine. Positioning of the back gauge is done by means of a rocker button. The measure to be cut is entered by means of numeric keys and verified by the ENTER key. Even measures with a decimal point of 0,01 mm can be entered. Input errors are corrected through the DEL key. The back gauge positioning travel can be stopped anytime by pressing the STOP key. Relative back gauge motions with reference to the current position are triggered by entering the signs (+ for reverse or - for advance), the minimal measure for a relative motion being 0,1 mm. Ahead of the back gauge start the control carries out a check, making sure that the calculated absolute measurement is within the limits of the allowed values. The functions ‘Cutting‘ or ‘Clamping without cut‘ are selected by the CUT button. During the ‘Cutting‘ function the hand grip switches must be kept pressed until the knife reaches the bottom dead centre. An early release will stop the machine immediately. During the ‘Clamping without cut‘ function the clamp bar will, after pressing of the hand grip switches, lower onto the material and stay in this function as long as the hand grip switches are pressed. The table of the machine allows the turning of formats with a diagonal of 62cm / 24inch. For instance the format DIN A3. Single-copy- or stacked material, i.e. paper, cardboard, felt, man-made material, metal foils, rubber, textiles and leather can be cut reliably. The material to be cut can be fed as single copy or stacked up to the maximum allowed pile height. Under normal operating conditions the machine must not be fixed to foundation. Should you, however, mainly process heavy material, the machine should be secured by means of fixing angles against lateral slipping. We recommend a concrete floor of min. 150 mm thickness. Program cutting Storage capacity: 50 programs. Within the operating mode ‘Program‘ three different sub – operating modes can be selected. New, Edit and Del. - New – new program: Provides the first free program. If all programs are employed, an information will appear. In this case an existing program can be deleted.
- Edit – editing of existing programs: By input of the program number (numerical keys) and verifying with the ENTER key the program in question is released for editing.
- Del – deleting of a program: By input of a program number (numerical keys) and verifying with the ENTER key the program in question is released for deletion.
