Gripper-Transport System

With the development of the Baumann gripper-system an important step towards automation of cutting-systems is done. Productivity is increased, the physical strain of the operator is minimized and the unproductive waiting time is reduced.

The newly developed variable gripper-system makes the transport of the material over an angle of 90 degrees possible, enabling a very companct construction of the whole cutting-system with short ways between jogger and guillotine.

A cutting-line, equipped with the new Baumann gripper-system can be operated by one single person.

New Principals

• The new Baumann gripper-system allows a space-saving construction with a guided rail over an angle of 90 degrees, to be installed at the right or left hand side, as required.
• Automatic feeding over reartable.
• Front loading is possible.
• Five storage spaces for the material in process to bridge the waiting times betwen jogging cutting.
• The gripper-system can be installed at almost any cutting-system.

New Display

• The operator is guided by a display with uncoded text, indicating the cause of any problems arising, as well as the recommended maintenance intervals.
• The gripper-system adjusts automatically to any given format.
